How have people recovered from meth addictions how hard is it?

I am 23 about to go into a detox program recovering form a ice addiction wanting to know experiences of other survivors.how hard is it? am i going to make it. Im also in a domestic violent relationship trying to get out of that also!!!
Im staying in a refuge at the moment for a couple of days untill there is enough room in the detox program i cant go home my partner was mentally and physically abusing me i have a broken nose at the moment but i was never ever strong enough to say enough is enough untill now…. just some words of advise would be wonderful.
